After having this submarine for about a week, I thought it would be fun to let loose one night and find out what it was capable of doing.
I wasn’t even taking review notes yet; I just felt like having some fun. In order to test this, I put in the drive some of the more intense Blu-ray discs that I own and turned up the volume all the way—and I do mean all the way.
When I was in the middle of it, I found myself wondering, “Should I really be listening to it this loud?”
On that particular occasion, I lacked restraint, and I probably would have been better served by turning back the volume to something more normal; nonetheless, there are times when I am not very good at exercising discretion.
I knew that if I exercised moderation at that very moment, I would certainly miss out on the fun that I was having, so I went for it with everything that I had.
About the time I was in the middle of my viewing session, my next-door neighbor began sending me a string of agitated text messages in which she demanded to know what in the world was going on.
It appears that they were able to hear the rattling of my storm windows from the comfort of their own backyard.
4- Movies
I really didn’t want to do it, but Dayton insisted that I go through with it.
I had the idea that I could test the Dayton 1000 with some new movies rather than anything that I had used in the past, but it turns out that you really need to use your best material with this subwoofer.
As a means of response, I felt forced to unearth some old favorites in order to test the water and determine whether or not it was able to withstand the blow.
